Connaught@Christmas
Festive illuminated gardens and food & craft village in Sidmouth Connaught@Christmas ran in December 2021 and 2022 in Sidmouth’s Connaught Gardens. I was brought on board by organiser John Radford to provide event PR support and it was a rip-roaring success (even though Storm Barra caused the first night in 2021 to be cancelled!). I gained coverage in all the local press, promoting not just the event but the traders in the craft village, our SEN-friendly evenings, and our VIP guest in 2022, Coraline, who has Down’s syndrome. ITV Westcountry came along to give a weather report from Connaught Gardens. Such a lovely festive event helping to promote this seaside town. Connaught@Christmas was shortlisted in the Exeter Living Awards 2022.
