One of my all time favourite clients. I first met Richard and Sargon from The Recycled Candle Company when they opened their first shop in Ottery St Mary and I wrote a feature about them for Devon Life. The concept of their business was to take all kinds of used wax from restaurants, hotels and individuals, melt it down and create beautiful new candles. When they opened their new shop in indie shopping district Gandy Street in Exeter in 2019, the time was ripe for PR support. I loved working with the boys and their inspirational idea. We secured a huge amount of national and local coverage, including TV and radio, magazine features and award wins before they sold the business and moved to Chorley.

There’s a sad ending as the buyer didn’t understand Richard and Sargon’s methodology and ideology. I worked on with them for a while, but my contract ended and TRCC eventually folded.
