SunGift Solar

A return to my PR roots with renewable energy for Exeter-based SunGift in 2021. My first PR role was with underfloor heating specialist, Nu-Heat. While I was there they moved into renewables, air source and ground source heat pumps and then solar PV, all of which I helped to promote. So I was really pleased when SunGift Solar asked me to manage their PR for a contracted period, which gave me the chance to learn about the latest advances in solar, Tesla batteries and EV charging points. I helped mainly with press releases, website copy, sector comment and awards entries.

“That’s been one of my mantras — focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex; you have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.”

“I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what’s next.”
