The Volunteer Inn
There’s nothing better than working with a local business, and you can’t get more local than a local pub. The Volunteer Inn in Ottery St Mary is a traditional town pub that was given a new lease of life by the current owners, Mike and Jacqui Down.
I worked with them to inform the townspeople of the changes taking place via press releases and social media, to promote the activities of the pub as well as helping to develop a new website. Since then, I’ve continued to provide ad hoc PR services plus regular website support.
