A beautiful wedding and conference venue with a heart set in a glorious Devon estate in the Tale Valley For over twenty years, Escot House and Estate has been a successful venue for weddings, conferences, activities, parties and the annual Beautiful Days Festival held every August.
Owned by the Kennaway family, who have always lived at the house, Escot Estate goes about its business in an understated way, not pushy or brash. I’ve been working in conjunction with Hannah Stephenson at Six Degrees Marketing to enhance the venue’s profile in the business community as well as remind locals of its benefits as a wedding and party venue.
I’ve been developing Escot’s presence on social media to provide inspiration for potential users, updating the website, writing blogs, organising location photography and writing awards entries (Escot won Best Venue at the 373 Awards in 2017). I have also been working with local magazines to showcase the venue. An activity day was a great success, with invited guests looking around the house and facilities and trying out activities including Segway and archery, resulting in a number of bookings.
